MODIFIED ACID™ SYSTEM
Enviro-Syn®️ HCR-7000®️ is part of the proprietary, eco-friendly Modified Acid™️ product portfolio that minimizes the hazardous exposure levels, corrosion rates, and negative HSE properties of hydrochloric acid (HCl) while maintaining the positive aspects of solubilizing ability and reactivity rates. Enviro-Syn HCR-7000 is a strong modified acid that in concentrate has similar solubilizing abilities as 15% HCl and can be enhanced through the addition of conventional chemistry.
Enviro-Syn HCR-7000 is a broad spectrum descalant that controls inorganic scale over a large concentration range including calcium and calcium sulfates. It also controls polymerization and precipitation of silica, and decreases precipitation of aluminum, iron and heavy metal salts.
APPLICATIONS
- Used in HT scale treatments where more aggressive removal of scale or mineral deposits is required and can safely be used in place of HCl
- Due to its immediate and aggressive spending nature, Enviro‐Syn HCR‐7000 is extremely effective for aggressive scale applications at low to ultra‐high temperatures
- Effective heavy‐duty cleaner and descalant for boat hulls, boat water systems, and salt and mineral buildup on boat surface and equipment

CORROSION
With inherently low metal corrosion properties, Enviro‐Syn HCR‐7000 has corrosion rates well below traditional HCl acid systems on typical grade steels.
